misc Wedding cakes

Tori wanted different cakes for her wedding... 5 different cakes and desserts... she asked me to make 3 of them.

First is a marble swirl cake with buttercream drop flowers with pearl dragees:

The second one is a Harvest Fruit cake--lemon cake with blackberry filling--

and pirouette cookies topped with fresh fruit.

This was cake table #1, her other friend had made the classic ivory cake
and the other orange cake in the background.
Her decor was great. I love the idea of using tree trunks for cake stands.

Edited: I found the awesome cake decorator that did the ivory cake and orange sugar crystal cake... Her name is Lindsey and she is the creative mind behind Layered Designs. Check her out--very cool and super cute cakes! :)

Cake table #2 with the harvest cake and tiramisu
which my brother made it based on a Bucca di Bepo recipe.

This cake was for our nephew, Jaybin, for his 3rd birthday.

The corsets and heart initials are made of fondant.

This party was so much fun to plan and do!

It was so GIRLY and COLORFUL!

I'm thinking you can incorporate tutus and wands

for a fairy style party as well!

Nick's Xbox Controller Cake

This was for Nick's 13th birthday party. He loves video games, so it was only obvious to have a video game themed party complete with an Xbox controller cake

John Deere Cupcakes

Brady, a son of a farmer/harvester, loves John Deere tractors.

Patrick did the fondant tractors, as I was doing Nick's Xbox cake that same night.
